Photography - to me, it’s a chance to capture a moment in history and tell a story. Years from now we’ll be looking at a porchtrait and telling stories of when we were quarantined during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
What’s a Porchtrait?
The past couple of weeks I’ve been taking porchtraits, also known as the Front Steps Project. Meeting people on their front steps (from 10+ feet away), talking about their COVID-19 quarantine, and photographing them where they are; as they are. This series is a collection of portraits showing that while we can’t control everything going on around us, we can still find joy and happiness from within and with the people we love most.
Here’s How It Works
I come to you and stay 10+ feet away, we spend about 15 minutes getting the photos you want (the same time as one of my mini portrait sessions) and in about 2-3 weeks I’ll send you a gallery where you can select 2 (or more!) edited, digital images. You’re more than welcome to print them and share them online, as much as you’d like!
Dress however you’d like - fancy, casual, or wear a costume. You can even use our time to get photos you want for a holiday card, update your professional headshot, or get some great photos to post on your Instragram.
How Much Is a Porchtrait Session?
The cost for a Porchtrait Session is the exact same as my Mini Session rate. For a 15 minute shoot on the front steps of your home, you’ll receive 2 edited (digital) images (of your choosing) for $200 (with the option to purchase additional photos).
