One of Nashville’s favorite neighborhoods is Slyvan Park. Caroline Dean, Village Real Estate - The City Living Group, had a listing in Sylvan Park that was also close to hot spots like: Star Bagel, McCabe Greenway, and other community hot spots.

I was able to deliver over 25 photos of the home and surrounding areas to help potential buyers see how close this Sylvan Park listing was to neighborhood hot spots.

While on vacation in Florida with my wife, I got a call from a real estate agent in East Nashville wanting to book a shoot for the following Monday. On Monday I provided real estate photography, aerial photos, a Matterport Tour, and a video that was made from the Matterport Tour.

My client, Nick Irwin, was very excited to update his listing with the photos and tour.

Nashville COVID-19 Porchtraits | The Front Steps Project

Photography - to me, it’s a chance to capture a moment in history and tell a story. Years from now we’ll be looking at a porchtrait and telling stories of when we were quarantined during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

What’s a Porchtrait?

The past couple of weeks I’ve been taking porchtraits, also known as the Front Steps Project. Meeting people on their front steps (from 10+ feet away), talking about their COVID-19 quarantine, and photographing them where they are; as they are. This series is a collection of portraits showing that while we can’t control everything going on around us, we can still find joy and happiness from within and with the people we love most.

As long as it takes for us to get back to our new normal, I’m continuing to make myself available for Porchtrait sessions.
